Good Morning!

Good morning. Lots of hurt going on here, including myself. Our DIL called last night to read me a letter she found that our son had left. We're doing better in general, but this has been a tough, tough year. We thought 2020 was bad. I'd like to pretend that 2021 never existed.

I have to look for the positives, as hard as they are to find right now. The biggest positive is our precious grandchildren. You can't help but laugh at their silly antics. We will be out of town with two of them over Christmas. We need to be out of town now. It helps. Another positive is our upcoming cruise in January. If covid goes crazy and the cruise industry slams shut again, we have plan B. Both plans involve warmth and beaches. Another positive is my tanks are somehow doing well, even with my neglect lately.

Life can throw some crazy curveballs...we just have to make the best of those situations and keep moving forward. At least, that's what I have to do.

Have a great Friday! :)
save the date and come play. :)

no shipping mods for me on this one.
curbside pickup. ;)
That makes it easier for you! That extra 30-50 makes it difficult to dedicate to a sale. So it has to be worth it for me to buy that module.

Also, with my state of mind last night, sunny decided to make faces at me.
I should have made a video instead.

Good morning everyone. Well, I got my bone screws, bits of my hip bone removed, and other stuff no one wants to hear about. I am not taking pain pills at the moment and feel somewhat okay, so I won't complain. It sounds like a few of us are having a rough couple of days. I hope everything improves for you.
Here's something you can laugh at. When I was leaving the hospital the nurse offered to help me go to the bathroom. I told her no thanks and that I would be embarrassed for her to see my private bits. She said, " trust me, I have seen plenty of them already." I was hoping for some kind of compliment after that, but none came.

I have screws in the garage but Jill wont use the drill to put them in so I guess I am stuck going to the doctor.
Cody went home today. Grant says Paige is obsessed. I suppose that is a good way to start out.

I have spent the morning on the couch trying to get the pain and muscle spasms out of my leg enough to make the trip to the doctor. We were supposed to meet Jeanna to give her Lucky. Jill went while I remained at home. Not a happy camper.

I hope you continue to improve! Here's a funny for you. True story. A VP we knew was having surgery years ago and was having a fit about wearing a gown (and being "exposed"). Protocol was protocol and he had to abide by the rules. Because he made such a big deal about it, when he woke up from anesthesia, he had a bright red ribbon tied...well, there.

Good evening all. Been out for a couple days. My Covid booster killed my butt for a day. Looks like I missed a lot in two days!
Hope everyone heals from all their health issues!

born 12121
Congrats!
Good morning, coffee done. Had some oatmeal. Actually goes very good with black coffee.
Doing my best to be happy this month. The last several months have been hard on me, emotionally.

I don't know how some can just open up and say it all. I wish I could at times. I've always bottled everything up.

Merry December! We have warm weather for a short bit. Going to have to enjoy what I can with the little one and the dog. Sunny can't handle winter well.
Please feel free to message me anytime! I may not be able to help but I can listen. Sometimes that is all we need!

Many of the young ladies that worked at the store went on to be nurses. One gave me a barium enema. I guess she was nervous and kept jabbing me. I finally said Lori, it's 2 inches to the left.

Good Morning Everyone!
Going to be another warm day here today, high 60’s.
I got a few hours of leaf blowing done yesterday. Only made a dent in them but I feel like I accomplished something. I might do a little more today after my other weekend chores are done. It’s parrot cage pressure washing day here, WAHOO!
I only got “hit” twice during the night. Both clusters were fairly short lived, about 1/2 hour each and about 5-6 out of ten on the pain scale. Got about 4 hours of uninterrupted sleep, which, for me lately, is a huge deal.
Hope Y’all have a fantastic day and remember, SANTA IS WATCHING!

Good morning! I have an idea for a new reality TV show. You put a bunch of accountants in a room and tell them they have to build a TV cabinet without saying bad words or hurting each other...how hard can it be to build a TV cabinet????? Don't ask me. I said a few bad words. I yelled at my husband, who yelled back. It was so much fun for my off day. ;) We finally ended up speaking to each other. The cabinet turned out great...after we had to practically take it apart and put it back together! I'm retiring from the TV cabinet building business. End of story.:)

I'll stick to uncomplicated things like reef tanks....and Excel macros. At least I know I can build those. Have a great Saturday! ;Joyful

Good morning! I love this thread and those in it.
My son's bday is just before xmas. If the doctors didn't induce laber.. he may have been born closer to the 25th. He was born on the 20th. I am sure he was a few days early. But, induction has been a common practice. More than half the moms I know in springfield was induced. That isn't a lot of women, just 3....

My dad in-law is a 70yr old construction worker. I believe he's been a construction worker for 25+years now. He has bad leg pain. He carries a hefty toolbox daily up and down ladders. I would guess an easy 30lb+. He was sent to rehab and the lady was going to tell him how to carry his toolbox up the ladder "correctly". He doesn't need no pain relief.. Just needs to learn to do his job better (in her words). I would love to see her do that. Seriously!
