Good Morning! a wonderful Friday to you all. went to the Dentist yesterday and all is well, my next visit will be Jan. 10 to have the implant-mounted top plate installed. this is like finally having my tank cycled and ready for fish. a long process that can not be rushed. i think i should have created a build thread lol.
my previous upper build crashed due to a piece of bacon that snapped off an upper bridge so i decided to tear it out and start new with a custom build. After looking at options i decided on an AIO to replace the smaller builds so i had a builder tear out the smaller units that i have had for many years to make room for a completely new one with new supports in the ceiling to hang the new heavy duty porcelain... sorry no pictures yet, maybe after it is complete lol

Happy Friday! Took the day off from work to do work lol. Gotta drag everything that's not nailed down in the basement upstairs so the work crew can rip the ruined floors out and clean on Monday. I see a lot of ibuprofen in my future lol

Good morning. Jill is going nuts on me. She works in a large retail store with a robot, multiple workstations, a drive through window plus giving immunizations. There is no tech help several hours a day and on weekends. They cant find anyone to work. Since she is retiring they gave her all the evening shifts with no help and all the end of day reporting. For my birthday she came home and chewed off my left leg last night. Only 8 more scheduled days. I hope we make it.
Jeanna will be home tomorrow to help distract her. She runs way faster then me though.

Good morning. Just got back from getting my daughter’s Covid booster. Christmas shopping is finished, our cat and daughters cat are finally getting along and actually started playing together. All is good!

It's until the end of the year. By working a day in 2022 she gets her vacation for next year.

All my furry friends can run faster than me too. I cant get under the bed either.

At some point in my life birthdays changed from happy things to like finding another rusty spot on the car.

Good morning. I’m off to work on my day off. I am going to smoke a ham for the Christmas party. It should be fun smoking while it’s 13°. High of 17° today. Hopefully I can find the welding blanket. Have a great day and stay safe.

I do have another problem I don't know what I am going to do about.

I had to move one of the large angels out of the 240. This restored peace to the tanks. The largest angel chased the smaller one. Water all over the floor and the tank every evening. Then the clown tang started getting cranked up when ever this started. It went after the foxface. I suppose it will be okay for a short period. I have never heard of angel police, just tang police. A trip to the LFS in Kentucky, pitch over the hill, tank upgrade? No good choices.
Pretty sure the angel did in my largest lionfish though.

the answer lies in you ,how attached to angel, means to upgrade,or add tank to"lab" .
but having someone else to do most all the work...

Interesting lunch today with my husband. One of his former departments just happened to be in the same restaurant having their Christmas lunch. The department director came over to our table, after the rest of the group left, and commented on how much more relaxed my husband seemed since retirement. I hope for the same for Jill!

Good Morning. Today at National Cemetaries all across the US they are having a "Laying of the Wreaths" ceremony on the graves of "all" the Veterans. We are having very heavy rains here on Long Island today and I am going because I think the rains will unfortunately keep many people from doing this, what I feel is a very important and Patriotic gesture.

I hope people across this great nation try to go to honor the people who allowed us to be in this and all hobbies.
