I love Sci Fi. I only watch Sci Fi. Even if I watch the News, I feel it is Sci Fi.
I remember seeing "Them" in black and white in the 50s. My first Sci Fi movie was in a drive in movie in the early 50s was the "Mysterians".

Scared the moose out of me even though the Aliens looked like they got their space suits in Target the day after Halloween. I couldn't sleep for months. ;Wideyed

"War of the Worlds".

There also was "The Day the Earth Stood Still". Not the one with Tom Cruise as he wasn't born for the original. There was "The Monster from the Black Lagoon". Stopped me from swimming for a few years.

The "Blob". OMG, scary.

The Thing From Outer Space is my favorite. X the Unknown, Kronos. They are all good.

We own most of them on disc but I also DVR them when they show up on TV. That way I can just set the sleep timer and everything goes off when I pass out.
The modern remakes, although better special effects, just don’t do it for me.
Glad to see I’m not the only fan of the old (not so scary) horror movies here.

It's also the movie they built Robbie the Robot for. That robot has been in many movies including "Lost in Space" The thing is still around in someone's collection.

driving andrea to work, as we have weather moving in.

going back out for the evening hunt.
most likely last of the season.
aside from a pay to play ditch parrot hunt.

Another year has come, still feel just as creaky as I did yesterday! I did do champagne with the gal after work (she otherwise doesn't drink) and brought in the new year, barely awake. Woke up to a dead banggai cardinal which a coworker/fellow reefer gave me, sucks they were what we assumed a pair. Time to walk the creaky dogs and get ready for work. Happy 2022 all!

I don't have my name in a Dr. Suess book, but there is a song by The Beach Boys that I've been forced to listen to most of my life. I've had cashiers and other complete strangers sing it to me (usually badly) when they find out my name....sing it now! Help me, Rhonda, help, help me, Rhonda. ;Hilarious
