No snow but a nice walk anyway. I walked through the golf course because I just didn't feel like walking down and up the 176 steps to the beach.

Last night.
Jill got off work her last day and was so excited she ran over a curb at a gas station and got a flat. So Jeanna and I went to save her and changed the flat. I was so excited I hit a large pothole in the dark and got a flat. We got home and went to be early.
So I am hunting tires today.

Sorry about the flat tires, but congrats to Jill on retirement!

I got the lady service writer at the tire shop who's memory is even worse than mine. Should be interesting.

Good morning, Going for a morning walk now. It is cold out, about 30 degrees and the weather predicted there would be snow on the ground this morning. Of course they are never right, like never.

It's a great job if you can get it when you never have to be correct so the forecast of a 50% chance of snow seems to be the safest bet and something they should always predict.

I was kind of looking for a "little" snow, not a blizzard, but I like my morning walks with a little snow just to change up the scenery a bit.

my assistant scuba instructor was a local weather predicter.
i once asked if he felt guilty making a six digit income and being wrong 90% of the time.
he just smiled.

Good Morning! today is Nicaragua and it is good!
the son and DiL gave me one- pot coffee pouches from 8 countries and a 'free 12 oz bag' coupon. i am going through them alphabetically to pick what i want the free bag to be. so far Guatemala, Kenya and now Nicaragua are finalists. with Peru and Uganda left to try. I should know by the end of the week.

Jill and Jeanna are going to Moundsville to see Earnest and deliver Christmas gifts so I get to herd animals for a couple of days. Olive the cat will now let me get within 2 inches of her without biting me. Tomorrow I will try toast as bait. She likes toast.
Earnest is not doing well and they are all concerned about his mental state. From what he told me he is up every hour all night urinating and is having problems with his CPAP causing aerophagia. Aerophagia is painful. If anyone had that going on for many many months their mental state would be poor. The man is a rock but rocks turn to sand with enough time.

I think I will try to complete the stationary sander project today. The thing is as old as me. It is from the era where you got a metal thing in a box and you had to mount it on something and power it yourself. Mom got it for my dad and he never did anything with it. I made a tool stand for it a long time ago and jammed it together somewhat so I could use it. Now I have mounted the motor a different way and replaced the old electric cord which came from a coffee pot if I remember right. It will even have an on/off switch now. I am still looking for a small bandsaw and a welder.
