Good Morning!

I would get a spare one and keep it in the house. I am comfortable changing parts like that though. If it is like most thermostats all you would have to do is snap the front off and put a new one on the baseplate where the wires are connected.
Just an idea.
That makes perfect sense. It’s a Honeywell so It should be easy to find one.

Good Morning Reefies
it feels like Lambeau Field.

Bless these new microscope users. So many scary things unseen until now.

Good morning. Just got up for the second time today. Our house guest number went up to 6 , 7 counting my daughter. Was up at 6am and made breakfast for them all. They where headed out by 6:30 am to get in line for the free outdoor concerts that start at 7 pm. It is 16 degrees so they all put on extra layers. I went back to bed for awhile. And they are doing it all over again for tomorrow’s concert.

Obviously a case of parasites

I really want to ask if you are referring to parasites on the moose or Lambeau Field, but thankfully I am able to exercise some restraint this morning and not ask.

Good (late) morning everyone!

Good Morning & Happy Sunday!
News of the day!:
The furnace is back up and running and the tanks survived the ordeal.
Turned out to be a small wiring issue between the furnace and the thermostat.
Its warm out and pouring rain and 95% of the snow is GONE!
Nothing to do today except watch football and throw some “beast” on the “Q” for dinner tonite.
Have a great day everyone!

I'm glad the furnace is fixed and you didn't have any tank issues! Our son sent a picture of their snowman yesterday with the caption "bye-bye snow." I guess it's rain all over for today. At least it gives me a good chance to soak the pitcher plant, which generally doesn't like living indoors during the winter, but doesn't have a choice!

Good morning! Rainy Sunday today, which means tank maintenance, laundry, and football, not necessarily in that order. Parameters were checked yesterday and everything is holding fairly steady. Have a great Sunday! :)

Good Morning! It's a toasty 16 right now. We will be below 0 probably most of the upcoming week, but we are looking at being above freezing a few days as well. Our snow will not be going anywhere yet. We still have a good 8 inches on the roads and most parking lots. This is my last week of 2 jobs for a while. The regional and GM keep calling me asking me to reconsider quitting. They finally asked me to just come back in May. All they have to do now is offer me about 3 more bucks an hour. I am almost certain they will. It's so great to be good at your job. Have a great day and stay safe!

Good morning

Good morning reefers!

Oh yah. I did my maintained yesterday. Today I relax and hit a couple of LFSs !

Have a blessed and wonderful day!

That was one of the challenges of my transfer. The 46 had been in place for 5 years, so I had rock encrusted together with coral growth. I had to take the rock out in large chunks. Everything did ok when I moved everything to the 90, but the rock was challenging again with placement in a larger tank. We added more base rock before adding the sand/water and kind of built everything back up over the base rock.

Here is a picture pre-transfer. I had to take off that top section with the monticaps in a huge chunk. Incidentally, this tank was set up in 2008 and there is Baby Clown, who still lives in the 90 today!

The biggest calamity was my prized brain coral in the lower right. I had had that piece for at least 4 years and somehow during the transfer, it split in half. My ICU nurse daughter-in-law proceeded to do "brain surgery" with superglue. It always helps to have an ICU nurse handy. :)

I hope yours goes well. The transfer day was one of my most stressful days ever!!
Oh dang! Yeah, your scape looks a lot more challenging than what I've got. I'm running out of excuses over here lol. Thats crazy awesome your clown is still alive after all those years

Would they let you put your house on top of one of those thermal geysers you have there like "Old Faithful?

Or do they frown on that sort of thing.

Good morning! Got up early today and started working on the tank. First up was upgrading my light with the reef nexus module. Sweet upgrade! I had the light reprogrammed in no time. I'm glad I saw feedback from y'all before I did it. Saved some swearing for sure about the "not glued down LEDs" lol.

Next up is to hook up the booster pump and see if I can make some water without it taking all day.
