Good Morning!

Good morning. Jill is at her dads and I am minding the zoo today. Her brother Erich is there to. Somehow he hit his head in the basement. One of the nieces is married to a doctor. So Erich got 8 staples in his scalp in the kitchen. Home health care.

Happened to one of our sons. We were having a neighborhood block party years ago and kids were being kids and throwing rocks...our son was hit in the head. He was probably about 4 at the time and of course, it was bleeding like crazy with mom (me) freaking out. It always helps to have a doctor at the party. He was examined and fixed up at the doctor's kitchen table.

I hope Erich feels better!

Good morning! It was a balmy 22 this morning, so no outside walking for me....unless it warms up about 43 more degrees. I need at least 65 degrees to brave the elements. I don't feel like putting on my big jacket and making sure my heated gloves are charged, so I guess I'll have to suffer on the dreadmill. I love walking outside and look forward to spring!

Pros of the dreadmill: Jacket and heated gloves are not required. TV is sitting right there. I can read an e-book...as long as I don't fall off.

Cons of the dreadmill: It's boring and I dread it.

Have a great Saturday! ;Joyful

I walk in the mornings and it is cold here in New York so lately I have been wearing mittens. I made these PVC driers because I sweat in them and they are hard to dry.

I used to wear gloves but mittens are much warmer.

Of course some people would use these in their quarantine tanks.

I have down gloves, but my hands still get too cold! I have this condition where if my fingers get too cold, some of them will turn white and lose all feeling. It comes back about 15 minutes later, but it's really uncomfortable (and annoying) when the feeling starts coming back.

I found heated gloves on Amazon. They have a rechargeable battery pack. They are kind of bulky and cumbersome, but they are AMAZING. Every once in a while, when it's pretty outside and I can't stand the thought of the dreadmill, I will suit up....down jacket, heated gloves, and ear muffs. Then, I can walk outside!

I like the idea of the PVC driers. I have many sections of those for when I have my hospital tank set up. Thankfully, I haven't had to go through the torture of replacing a fish lately! :)

Ready to get to work but it says it's 23 out. Too cold in the garage for me. I have a bit of the fingers have no blood if cold thing to. Mostly it's just really annoying.
Contemplating one of my drugs, wishing it worked better and maybe upping the dose. Then I counted them. I am supposed to have 48 left but I have 74. I guess you actually have to take it for it to work.

I didn't think they had newspapers any more.

ReefGrammie, my wife has that Raynards syndrome which makes her hands cold. But mittens are many times warmer than gloves. :)

Good morning everyone! It is National Love Your Pet Day!

It's not covid, but I woke up feeling really miserable. Horrible sore throat. I went to go sit on the beach. It's better than sitting in bed. (I almost feel like I need to apologize for the weather here!) Have a great day everyone!

Update:
More crowded than usual, but I'm feeling improved.
The "medicinal" water I brought with me seems to have helped. ;)
