Hey guys been doing lots of research I want to start a bigger aquarium like a sumped 40b or 75 gal but I don't have the time money space etc for such a large project at the moment.... Was looking into an aio nano for a starter until I have the means for a bigger better project... Was wondering if any one has any thoughts or preferences towards aquarium selection I like the fluval 13 but I've read that allot of people scrap the hood and light right out of the box... Seems like a waste was thinking about a water box 15 or 20 maybe it's a similar price... Looking to spend money on quality.... Not much of an aio if I gotta replace half the stuff it came with any thoughts or suggestions would be great

I have the fluval 13 and like it a lot. The stock light is not the most flattering for your corals but im getting growth. I havent upgraded anything yet after 4 months but will upgrade the return pump or add a powerhead before i mess with the light. What are you looking to put in the aio?

Like 15years ago, I liked my JBJ 28g with the HQI bulb set up. Not sure what the equivalent would be today. The size is a good one to start with, so any maybe AIO around the 28g range with a MH or decent LED set up. Sorry, not much help. Good luck!

Some zoa's and acans...a general mixed reef... Possibly a low maintenance sps like a Stylo or pocillapora in the future
