They may also be sea cucumbers or tunicates of some kind.

Left looks like cucumber or even sea hare and right hard to tell as many snails pick onto their shells. . algae, hydroids, zoa, and other polyps

I'd keep them in a sump chamber for a while to see what they do. Very cool regardless!
