Good or bad worm?

Bristleworms are the good guys. Will clean up detritus.

Does anyone know if these guys (bristle and/or fire) can develop into new worms from broken parts like what's shown in the OP's pic? Someone posted something on bristle worms (I think it was bristles) and it mentioned this. If it's true then the OP potentially has two of them now.
