Looking for identification. This has been moderately spreading across the sand bed. I haven’t messed with it much. It looks to be a hard algae like coralline but not sure? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

It looks like cyanobacteria. Not enough flow and too much nutrients in the tank. You can try a 3 day lights out period and cover the tank with a blanket so no light gets in from the front.

Cyano, check and reduce your white light spectrum to 5 hours total daily;)

Should I siphon it up during a water change? Or just leave it with the reduced lights?

Suck it out and watch it grow back in a few days... Leave it in and watch it spread over everything!

Are you running a skimmer? Light out and skimming is the way to go. You need more flow for sure.
