Good or bad?

I have two of these now popping up on my rocks. I have never had coral in either location and am not sure where these came from....any ideas on what they are and if they are good or bad?

I'm not sure what they are but it really depends on how you feel about hitchhikers. In a way it's no different from an aiptasia or mojano nem since you didn't choose to put it in your tank. Something like that that pops out of nowhere has the potential to be a pest/annoyance and possibly multiply out of control at some point. Maybe sting/overcrowd corals that you really want.

those could be little baby rock nems, judging from the color. if you want to tell-buy a cheap uv/blacklight (the ones advertised for pet stains) and shine it on them. if it lights up and is flourescent, its a rock nem and if it doesnt, its either an aiptasia/ball/mojano (my money would be on mojano from just looking at it).

I was afraid it was possibly Mojano, I will test the blacklight and see what happens.

tbh it could be a baby rock nem, they look a lot like that when theyre small lol blacklight is the way to go
