saw this thing in my live plant/algae from lfs and thought it was a spider... ended up having to toss all of it cuz it kept getting caught in the filter. somehow it escaped and planted on my rock

if the video is awful, can describe it either as a little weird brown tree or brown spider and has like a hollow trunk in the middle

Tell your LFS that they need to buy you one of those fancy fancy aiptasia lasers now

Any little particles left or suspended in the water will most likely start new ones.

Use of kalk paste, lemon juice, aptasia x...... With flow turned off. Syphon out the pieces is best. Repeat as needed.

an update... another big one immediately spouted the next day. i lifted my LR partially out of water where the aiptasia was, scraped it hard with a screw, and wiped it off... haven’t seen any since!
