So I finished my cycle on Friday and now I have these tests

Calcium 400ppm
Alk 300ppm
Nitrate 0 ppm
Nitrite .5 ppm
Ph 8.0
Ammonia 0

Nice. Did u add anything to speed the process? Right now my ammonia dropped to 0 but my nitrite is above 5.0ppm and my nitrates are he'll a high like 160.

That's why mine were like wait like 4 days and do a water change regardless what your nitrates are, nitrites will cycle out over again if you have some left...

I had a lot of die off from some live rock I bought from liveaquaira. All params sky rocketed in 2 days, hell even nitrates showed up in 2 days, I'm sure it was from the die off, but is that possible u think?

Yeah let it all convert to nitrates so don't even test for them just wait till ammonia an nitrite are zero. Then do like a 50% water change.

The alkalinity is high at 300 ppm (16.5 dKH). I recommend 125-200 ppm calcium carbonate equivbalents (7-11 dKH).

Nitrite should decline, if real, and the other values are fine. :)
