Finally got my hanna testers and red sea test kit so I can do my own test and I just wanted to run these numbers by everyone and see
Ammonia 0
NO 2 0
NO 3 0
Salt 1.024
Phos 0
Ph 8.1
Calc 425
ALK 9.9
Mag 1360
I have 2 reason I ask.
One is it seems like I am having a problem with my corals and clam opening. It has gotten a little better since I messed with the lights.
2nd is. Is there any way to keep the PH stable. Im pretty sure we have bad gas exchange and there's c02 stuck in the water. My ph swing is from 7.5 ish all the way to 8.15. I dont know if that is what is hurting the tank. I have 2 air stones in the sump but Still the PH seems low
Just info on the tank its an 80gal db rimless with a 50 gal sump. Lighting is 2 ai sols at 20 in AWL and 60% with a 4 hr ramp time.
Any feedback would be great
