I’ve recently added some small SPS sticks, sadly only one, maybe two out of 5 hasn’t just died and turned brown or white, and my Xenia is shrinking for some reason, it was huge now it’s about the size of when I got it. Any ideas on what to do? I feel like my success with corals is low, even had a mushroom for 4 months now which are supposedly supposed to grow like wildfire, but it hasn’t changed Size at all it seems like, I’d love to be able to keep some beautiful sps but I’m struggling with the 200 dollars that died 2 days after I got them lol nothing on the seller, just something about them didn’t ever like my tank, what can I Do to increase growth on the. The corals?

The magnesium is very low and a good target is around 1350 and it’s very important as it affects the chemical processes that take place and it will lead to poor coral health

Ammonia should be 0 and a good target for alkalinity is around 8-8.5 as it’s gives you a little more ‘wiggle’ room. Your on the low side of ok at 7.3

Also get a phosphate test kit as it’s important to keep it very low especially in new tanks to avoid many unwanted issues

Any tips on how to increase calcium and dkh? And what phosphate kit do you recommend?

Oh sorry I meant to say magnesium lol
Same principal, check out the link above and if your Birmingham UK you can get the chemicals from the jungle site. And probably also wherever your based
