I have a 270 gallon FOWLR tank. It came with 1 powerhead, I think it is a "Super Aquatic JVP-102A 1300Gph Aquarium Circulation Pump Wave Maker Power Head with Suction Cup" or something very similar to that. The suction cup has eroded a bit and does not really stay on, not to mention it does not seem to really seem powerful enough to make much difference even when it is stuck on.

Anyone have some suggestions? Not looking for anything too complex just want it to work well.

I’ve heard good things about the Sicce Voyager series. They come in a wide variety of flow rates and are priced fairly.

Running the EchoTech Vortech also (MP10s in my 55g), no issues over a year here, would do again.

Loving the magnetic mounts these days vs the old school suction cups, and these things pump water.

I'm STILL running my MP40 from 2008. On my 3rd wetside but 15 yrs of service? C'mon ... A+

Wonder how many quadrillion zillion RPMs over 15yrs? Aaaaaaa LOT

My 2 favorite water movers are the Tunze line of powerheads. I used a pair of Tunze 6105's for 12+ years and sold them to a friend when I went with Vortech MP40's.
Suction cups went the way of the dinosaurs a couple decades ago.
