Good refugium light under $150?

Hi all, looking for any recommendations for a refugium light. Tunze Eco Chic looks interesting.

Also, any thoughts on this?

The $28 socket LED bulbs from Amazon work great. I have one growing a Xenia garden in my fuge. I use it with a smart plug that’s on a timer.

It’ $30 now, I believe they have several different spectrums.

My fluval planted nano works great, but so do my $30 LEDs from the fish store with a Kasa Wifi Smartplug

The tunze ones are legit, IMHO but pricey. I have a friend who swears by it!

I mounted this light on 1/2" pvc outriggers and set it on the tank/fuge

I'll second this one. Only had it on my fuge for a few weeks and Cheato is growing like crazy. It does spill over quite a bit. I also use one of the bluetooth plugs to control it.

I bought the Tunze and love it. Waterproof, small, and can put it so it shines up onto the bottom of the cheato. That way the light doesn’t bleed over to other areas in the tank causing unwanted algae growth.

I use this black plexiglass acrylic to block out all the light around my refugium. Easy to set up and spot welded it with a couple drops of super glue so it’s easy to remove. Works great!

I will third the cfgrow light. I have had the 100w version for a few years and never has a single issue with it. It’s grown chaeto well for me.

Which would be better for a cpr hob refugium? This, the 100w or the tunze? I can’t make up my mind lol
