Just fixing to setup a 125 gallon reef ready tank with sump and just wondering what return pump people use..or like..

Sump is directly under tank

I use a vectra m2 and it’s a very nice quit pump love having the controller on it to dial it in!

I'm using a jebao on my 40b and have had zero problems with it. There are better pumps but for the price I'd rather have 2 $100 pump with one as a backup over a $200 pump with no backup.

Between DC pumps you can't go wrong with Vectra.
And for AC pumps Sicce Syncra ADV series are the best IMO, super quiet and relatively low power consumption.

royal exclusiv. Buy once. Buy right. Dc. The only truly quiet pump I have ever owned. And when I say quiet I mean quiet. You can't hear it period. Makes you wonder if the darn thing is even on. The kind of pump that you expect to last for 10 years.

I just set up a 135g and am using a Sicce 4.0
Strong and very quiet

Thank y’all all for the suggestion band help I looked at them all and was impressed by all of them.. budget reefer if I wasn’t I think I would pull the trigger on Neptune core 20.. but upgrades will come and I picked 2 sicce 3.0 as dual overflow and return on each return let me know what you guys think good bad is Idea or should I plumb it together

I am a big fan of simplicity. A single pump takes less room in the sump and one less cord to plug in. Although It would be a good idea to always have a spare pump as a back up.
