Good RO/DI system

Hello! I'm just looking to remove contaminants and heavy metals from my water, and I was wondering if this 4 stage RO/DI filter is good enough for the job. My water also has some weird thing called PFAS which accidentally got in. I live in Michigan, so we get our water from the Great Lakes. PFAS was poured into the water, and it didn't get absorbed fully so it is now in our water (we also sometimes have lead and crap too...)

Have you ran a tds number on your water coming from your home? Do you have a list of exactly what is in your homes water?

Also in high school. I haven’t heard very good things about the AquaticLife RO buddies unfortunately. I would recommend the Bulk Reef Supply 4 stage. Here is a link:

I don't think that one has a DI bed. You might want to invest a little more and get a complete RO/DI unit. If you can spend a little more take a look on bulkreefsupply.com. they have alot of good affordable units. If you Buy cheap, ..you buy twice

At the very least I would say get a 5 stage unit.

Best thing to do is look for a used one and just replace the filters. Sometimes you can find one cheap and just need filters
