good secondary macro algae besides cheato ?

had my sump now for about 8 months just using cheato as my only algae, I've seen mangoves and live in florida but have heard they suck up magnesium so you have to keep up with the levels on that, but they are a slow grower too and require cutting the leaves off when they fall which i'm away from home 13-14 hours a day sometimes... looking for a fully submersible macro for the sump...suggestions ?

dragons breath, grape calpura (mess up spelling), but really any of the macro algae need iron.

You can find ulva and gracillaria around the river where we live. Give it a good rinse to shake out any hitchhickers and you cant get better than free. For ease of access try around the causeways along the rocks.

Cheato and a small blade caulerpa type sp. as in pic. This grows better than the cheato.
