Yes, the yellowtail blue damsel I had is now gone. No worries he didn't flushed or fed to a neighborhood cat. I took him back to the box store. They even had me fill out relinquish paperwork, so dumb.

So now the tank, and the reason I got rid of him, is holding 3 zoas, buy two get one free, a clean up crew of red legged hermits and a combination of snails and two ocellaris clownfish. The devil fish wouldn't leave them alone so had to go. My next purchase will be a toadstool leather for the little clowns and after that more zoas. Once I have better lighting, to make the colors pop, I'll post some picks of the zoas. One of them is jungle juice, the others I don't know, they were $10 each.

Peace is once again restored to the galaxy, I mean tank. ;) Relinquish paperwork? That's very interesting and something I've never heard of before.

Damsels are tough, cheap, and colorful. Unfortunately, they are mindlessly aggressive.

I scuba dive. I have gotten close to big grouper, turtles, huge morays, rays, sharks, and never a problem. I have often been attacked by 3" damsels. Completely insane little fish.

Petco..I found a lfs, Saltwater Junkies that is close to home, finally, and will go there from now on

I have had passive ones, mean ones and everything in between. Still one of my favorite fish. Almost had a damsel kill me diving at 80 ft.

You know it's so crazy with damsels, some are soooo bad and others are fine. My tank seems to be the exception for all things good and bad but I have 3 damsels that live in harmony with very unlikely tank mates :)
