Goofy scroll bar middle of page

I keep getting this horizontal scroll bar on the pages. It goes away if I can scroll up enough to hide it at the top, it doesn't come back.

I use Firefox also and I do not have this problem.

What's your screen resolution?

I'm using explorer, screen resolution 1024 x 768

I'm on several forums and this is the only one that does this.

I get a very small horizontal scroll bar with IE but none with Firefox (unless there is a big picture in the thread). My resolution is 1024 x 768 as well. I try not to use IE if I don't have to.

Ditto to what H@rry said. I try to avoid IE at all costs, there are a lot fewer problems with Firefox IMHO.
