Gorgonia Growth or Damage?

Hi all - My gorgonia has a few thin branches on its side closest to a recently moved bubble tip anemone. Is this damage or new growth?

If damage, best way to harass the bubble tip? I’ve tried physically moving him but his foot is locked deep in the rock…

Looks like damage. It can regrow just fine if the tank stays stable and nothing else bothers it.

For the nem, below is a link to a good way to move a nem without causing damage, but be forewarned the nem may move back to that exact spot. Once you add a nem to a tank, it now owns the tank and will go where it wants.
