Hello all!
Any help much appreciated!
Yesterday I bought a gorgeous photosynthetic gorgonian which opened up in the first hour and everything was great!
Today, my blue and my yellow tangs are nipping it and in result, it retracts it’s polyps and stays closed most of the time. I don’t want to lose it. Please, any advice will be useful.
Thank you all for your time…

Very pretty. Do you know what the scientific name is? It honestly reminds me of a nonphotosynthetic one. Opposite colors of the orange tree non-photo gorg.

I would try more nori and things like masstick to keep the Tangs busy/full. Tangs have been known to be nippers of corals though and can effect polyp extension.

That is a nps not a photosynthetic. The problem with tangs and gorgs is they have a tendency to grow algae, micro algae that you may not even see. If an nps is something you didn't bargain for, this will be a challenge.
