Gorgonian coral

I got that part ok. The problem was with the glue. I used a all purpose gel by "The original super glue". The gel kept floating away and the fish tried eating it. The cardinals managed to spit it back up. Then the top of the tank created a film. This all happened rather quickly. I threw out the rock that had the glue on it and did a water change. All seems well now.

I don't thing the glue harms the fish if it is cyanoacrylate gel. One thing that may be happening is the place you are trying to glue may have algae or detritus keeping the glue from sticking. Patting it with a towel helps.

A other trick for runnier glue:

Dry the space to be glued on the rock, put a glob in a hole and dip it in tank water and set it down.

Then do the same thing to the gorg frag but Insert it into the glue glob. Set the frag in a low flow area for a week or so.

Reef putty also works if it still is a PITA.
just make a mound of it and poke the frag into it and let it attach itself.
