Anyone know what type of gorgonian this is? Mostly importantly, is it non photosynthetic? I bought from LFS and they said it is. But I am not sure how certain they are.

It's white with brown polyps. Polyp size is a lot smaller than other NPS gorgonian and polyps are more dense. I mounted under overhang thinking it's NPS. But I'm second guessing myself now.

That’s commonly called a spiny gorgonian and it’s in the photosynthetic group. So give it some light and you’ll be good to go!
