Do they like low light or high light?

High flow or low flow?



Ive never had one before and this one has awsome white polyps and i dont want to kill it!!!!

I have to tell you that one does not look healthy right now to me.

Gorgonians that are photosynthetic like moderate to moderate high lighting. The need decent flow too but not a ton.

If it is not photosynthetic, then it will need supplemental phyto feedings frequently.
 
its ticked its fully opened now i forgot to turn my lights off lol its polyps are an AWSOME white
 
My corky finger gorg likes a lot of light, but I really think it would be almost impossible to kill it. I mean I found it washed up on a beach about 5 ft from the water's edge!

Yours looks more like my dad's sea whips except his don't have white polyps. They are under MH's and he feeds them phyto often and they still look good. He's had them for a few months now, so he must be doing something right.
