Do you know if gorilla grab adhesive is safe for aquariums once cured? I’ve used that in my tank build then realised it should have been gorilla glue not this grab adhesive stick? I contacted gorilla and they have no clue how if their products are harmful to animals or not . This gorilla grab adhesive can cure under water and is 100% waterproof once cured. In the spec data it does list a substance that is toxic to aquatic life but that is in its incurred state, there is no mention of it once cured. I assume it’s like silicone, it must fully cure before it’s safe? Since gorilla grab is 100% submersible and waterproof once cured I can’t imagine that it secretes anything. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Gorilla-Gl...12&hvtargid=pla-496550769792&psc=1&th=1&psc=1

I understand the implications of adhesive curing, being both a PhD chemist and having worked in R&D at an adhesive company.

I personally wouldn’t use it because of the last two ingredients listed (e.g. 2-(2H-benzotriazol-2- yl)-p-cresol), but it may be ok since I do not know how much is present, exactly how toxic those two are to marine organisms, or how much will leach out.

Ok thanks for this advice.
