Gorilla tape in media chamber ok?

I just added a JBJ nano led behind my second media chamber in a WB 20 cube and have this line of light bleed through. It seems to be a slit in the InTank meia holder. Would gorilla tape be ok on this? Wondering if anything would leach into the tank. I don’t want the light bleed through at night because this is in my room.

Would not add gorilla tape. Tough situation......
Any better pics for more suggestions?
Black 100% silicone is a better choice but......thats work.

Make sure its 100% silicone with no mildew inhibiting additives!
