Got this ro/di for a steal, saw the 2:1 and thought it would save me a bunch of water compared to my old 3:1 system. Anyone have this? What do you think of this if you do? also got a used Aqua Ultraviolet UV 25watt for 75 bucks needed a new bulb so I have 125 in it, I’m happy happy happy!

I run 2:1 & when inquiring I was told I MUST HAVE soft water for this to be viable. I do so it's OK.

Nice score... Gotta love new toys! :) That looks like a dual membrane set up, similar to BRS’s membrane add on water saver kit. It is more ideal to use in situations with lower source water TDS. With higher source water TDS, it will still work, but you will lose post RO efficiency and rip through that second RO membrane in short order as it is processing the waste water from the first membrane.

Yeah, I think you’re good. See around the 4:30 mark in this BRS video about running membranes in series like the set up that you have.
