Bump

I run semi high to high PAR in my tank and I hardy acclimate my corals to the light at all. So maybe I'm not who you want to hear from.

IMHO if your older corals looked bad, it may have been other things than the light. And even if it was the light, did it do any long term damage?

A couple of days they are fine moved the new ones up tonight they are doing perfect so it pays to wait a day or two the only bits I have left low is the birds nest as this needs to move up more slower then the digi as it starts to bleach but am sure my birds nest is neon green what I read is it don’t need high light and is better lower in the tank so keeping it low but my pink birds nest will be moving up to the top as that likes high light plus I have turn my lights on to 12 hr a day ramping up and down with moon lights on all night but might be turning moon lights off just testing it with them on for a week or two swamped from soft to sps / lps so it’s a big change ( one of my digi was not fully coming out I turned my pump up by 1000 litter a hr and it started to come out now it’s fully out but my tanks turning over more then it needs to don’t know if this is a really bad thing but my tanks doing better then before well it seems

It needs upgrading but only got the tank like 3 months ago moved it as a complete set up full of soft corals I have removed next to most of the soft corals and moved on to sps/lps and Zoas so upgrading most things one abit at a time

Here they was just before I stuck them on will take a pic of them on the rock work when lights back on then there is some pictures there of my other ones I just stuck straight to the rock work

I don’t either but I run Ati 8x80 t5. I always heard issues going to LED.
But also know the corals you’re putting in & their light requirement.

I have never light acclimated haha not too many sps though.

Here they are a crab broke a bit of digi of so I have just re plugged it on the pic so that’s why that ones not fully out but there doing good
