Got a new clown fish and was wondering if these spots on him are ich or just how he is

I'd be looking more at brook instead of ich. Clowns are known for brook. If his skin gets cloudy dusty looking with the spots that's brook.

It looks like I have and he's not looking to good. I would qt as soon as possible. Do you have other fish in the tank?

I would say that that is ich, but being a clown it is good to be on the lookout for brook.
Could you post a video (linked through YouTube) to assess behavior and breathing rate?
Both ich and brook have two different treatments, so it’s important to get it right.
