Got a refractomerter

So I got a new refract and it is set to 20c 68 deg will my reading be affected if my water is 78deg

Whats your room temperature? Tank water temp doesn't matter so much because the tiny bit of water reaches equilibrium rather quickly with the refractometer which theoretically should be room temperature.

Is the refractometer you purchased able to be calibrated. If so, buy a bottle of calibration fluid. Its good to re calibrate every few months.

It's an atc refract and I keep my house 68deg
