Looking for recommendations on what i should put on,This new pump. I want to improve coral growth, but the vast Mount of info out there implys that all additive for coral growth are good. I currently test and would buy will buy a test for what ever i go with. And do all amnios have to be refridgated after opening?

Sweet gift! What kind of corals do you have in your system? I have recently started dosing EasySPS Evo through my dosing pump and have had a great initial experience! I switched from AcroPower to this and my PE and Alk consumption has gone way up over a 2-3week period. They are also 100% transparent with what is in their food which I appreciate

I dose
Nopox
Mag
Ca
Alk
Iodide
Strontium
Aminos
Vibrant

Do ALL amnios have to be refrigerated? Once opened? If not which ones do not require it.

Good question, I can’t speak for all but I never refrigerated AcroPower, and I specifically asked about EasySPS Evo and that also doesn’t need to be refrigerated! Another positive for the EasySPS is that the container it comes in can be directly hooked up to your doser!

I wouldn’t have something else in mind that I would use a doser for. I dosed silicate, but I don’t think it needs a doser

If you mean brand, I do not know which might have suitable preservatives. All individual amino acids will potentially decompose by bacterial consumption.

Seprate note ---Anyone know what the port plug does on this pump? I always assumed it would allow you to dasiy chaIn two units and control all pumps (8total) from one unit.
Now that i have my second unit, If this is not true why does this pump settings for calibration allow you to select upto 8 pumps to calibrate. The instructions do not talk about this port and it looks like it requires a phone/cat5

You never mentioned what brand of doser you received. That would be helpful

I found it. There are two types of controllers for these
A master (aka auto) which has the control panel and another called a slave unit which has no control panel. I was gifted. Second master unit so i can not daisy chain them. However if i had a slave unit then i could have daisy chained them and controlled them from one unit. Oh well. Im not looking a christmas gift horse in the mouth. Lol

ah that makes sense.

it’s probably better to have two master units, if you consider that they can fail. Like if one master dies, you can dose essential stuff via the other one.
