Picked up this mixed colony plug at my lfs the other day just for the orange skirt ones, which I hadn't seen before... looking around I can see some resemblance to some of the tequila sunrise however many of those don't have the solid orange circle or at least not as defined as this one... anyone know what they are? ...fyi they've only been in my tank 2 days

I thought that too at first! however looking through fruitloop pics none had the center white! these one have it white and with slit just like the blondies.... come to think of looking at blondies they look similar to blondies!!! except yellow band is not as thick , could it be.... or similar morph:ooh: can't wait till they color up to they're full potential and pic doesn't do them any good btw

+1 on fruit loop morph
I can see how it can be blondes tho is the ring green or yellow?

gitsoe- ring is yellow...looks kinda funky in the pics... camera sucks hehe

sooo...I looked over some more pics across the web, I can see they do look like fruitloops but now I'm confused! what's the difference between a fruitloop and a blondie? The first fruitloops I saw had a blue center(aquacon pic)... but then I saw others with dark centers(zoaid) which the center matches the color of the ring following the yellow:squigglemouth:... and looking at cherry corals on site current fruitloops they are also white centered, thing is now I can't tell what's the difference from the blondies!! anyone care to explain?

Gitsoe has some really really nice Blondies and fruitloops hopefully he can post them for reference. :)

Ps. Still waiting for that Blondie frag :(

Acutally SD... yours were the ones I saw that led me to believe they could be tequila sunrise!! I saw them on the FS thread:wink: I think mine could be very similar to the ones you have too... but then again like I mentioned I couldn't find any other tequila sunrise that resembled your's imo, fwiw they're the nicest version imho, the other's didn't have the yellow ring. who did you get yours from? pm me if you don't wanna disclose it on the thread :)

Blondies to my knowledge is short for blue eyes blonde b!@$* (please correct me if im wrong), has a baby blue color center instead of white in the center then a a thin bright yellow ring then a big less bright yellow ring around then red skirt.
Glad you figured what they were out! i have some zoos that look like that but there not as big as blondies ill try to take a pic. i called them a fruiltloop morphs but i guess they might be tequilla sunrises.

Those look nice an.d your shots SD be lookin sweet kid

Actually those look identical to the zoas Rich Negret sells as Orange Jawbreakers. I have some right now and they look just like yours. Sweet zoa; basically the inverse color pattern of the Red Jawbreakers. I've seen a couple zoas/palys named Tequila Sunrise and neither had any resemblance to yours, though the ones from SD are different from the ones I'd seen before.

gitsoe is right about the colors of the blondies--they would have bluish centers (thus the name) and the yellow is more prominent on the disc.

The larger colony was being kept under a Tek 8x54w T-5 fixture half-way up, while the frag (from that colony) has been under a Tek 6x54w near the bottom.

Wow! Thats a pretty impressive blondie colony!! Thanks for the info btw... So yeah thats what i thought idont think they are the one commonly referred to as the tequila sunrise. So i guess maybe sd's could be that also,..right or do these look like ts morph to you? Do you have the orange jawbreakers posted on your site? I'd like tosee those also if you have pics.:)

Nanofins- I actually looked at several pics of the jawbreakers both red and orange, they do look the same except that the skirt on both jawbreakers is yellow at least on the ones I found! This one is red but like you said its colors are basically the reverse red jawbreaker(maybe that's what it should be called:tongue:).

I took some pics with a decent cam I hope it helps to sort out what this zoa actually is!
