So it’s been about a month since I changed my canister filter. Haven’t changed it since I installed it. Haven’t don’t a water change in almost a month but nitrate nitrite ammonia levels are perfect for some reason. I have a 70 gallon tank with a light bioload for now. Just a conch black urchin and two clownfish. I’m assuming I still need to do a water change?

Water changes are almost never a bad idea IMHO.

That said, with your light bio-load water parameters will be slow to change. Ammonia and nitrate are OK, you should probably be checking for phosphate as well. I'd clean the canister filter though, whether it needs it or not.

Neither would I, but that's not really a huge issue.
