Got me a Majano Wand!

Sick of aiptasia so I purchased a Majano wand and it came in the mail today. WOOT!

Going to kill some anemones and share the video with you soon.

And what do you think of it? Oh would we ever. Yes indeedy, especially the one when you are going to have to stand on your head to get just that one waaaaaay over there. Lol! Oh and also the one when Tonya has to peel you off of the floor! Yep we will be playing that one at MACNA!

They are really fun to use. Have a turkey baster handy to suck up the dead tissue. You will have a blast!

Would love to see that. Let us know how it works. I'm about at the point I'm just going to start an aptasia tank so I can build up a bergia population and swarm the main tank

I love the wand. I have to usually have someone help me as using two hands to control the wand is best. The first time I had to have 2 helpers, one to press the button and one to keep my female clownfish away since she was upset I was in her area.

The biggest problem with the wand is actually getting to the aiptasia. When you get close, it senses a disturbance in its force and retracts to underneath a piece of live rock ... grrrrrrr ... I was finally able to get rid of one of my main pests last week but I still have two that I haven't been able to sneak up on yet ...

The wand works great and killing aiptasia. The only issue is being able to get to spots where they live and you can't reach with the wand. Other than that it works!

Can you bend the tip to make sort of a slight hook shape? I've got one in a spot that's super hard to reach.
