It sure does look like a Galaxea coral to me. Be sure to leave allot of room around it, they can put out some long sweepers.

Congratulation on your first of many
I am inclined to think Tongue coral/Polyphyllia as well, you just do not see this coral much in the hobby anymore. In the 80-90's this coral was pretty popular. Same requirements as with all stony corals, maintain stable ca/alk/mag levels, mod flow and mod lighting. It's a pretty hardy coral. Congrats on your first coral, hold you wallet dearly because once you start buying corals it's hard to stop.;Nailbiting
