Got my Tuamotu Maxima Clams

I'm not sure that anyone carries them, Maximus. As I said almost all of the stock was lost. It was through a lot of luck that I was able to come across the ones that I got. Apparently the last 4 available (for the next few months anyway) were shipped out to my local vendor and I am getting two of those.

Looking good Jaytizzle, can you get some better pic's of the Squamosa and the smaller Maxima?

Ask and ye shall receive. The shot of the Maxima came out pretty awesome. The Squammy is small and fairly far away from the glass to get a good shot. I did the best that I could for now but it's just not up to par.

That Maxima looks great, and the Squamosa actually looks like a Derasa with scutes to me? Can you move it closer to the glass and see if you can get a clear shot?

Just took a closer look at checked an ID page and it most certainly is a Derasa with scutes! Great catch, MC!

No worry's, most Derasa's don't have scutes because they break off really easily. I actually have one with them now myself.
