Nice and quick.

monitor phosphates

Phosphates have always been a pain for me, one thing that helped me was getting a ultra low phosphorus checker.

Potassium is the only thing that sticks out. Definitely want that closer to 380-400.

I saw that too, Potassium alway seems to run low. With the method he is going to use the potassium should balance out but will still run low:)

I need to get that phosphorus Hanna checker, the phosphate ones does not cut it anymore. I was watching a few videos on YouTube and They all basically said potassium is better a little low vs higher. Im.just going to monitor it and if it gets to 200-250 I will dose it and minutes it closely. I'm happy where it is now.

I have not used the Trition method, and I would be guessing but I would say Trition would have potassium in the dosing regimen to keep the potassium steady. I use the balling method and one of the element that is mixed in is potassium and my potassium stays pretty steady.

From reading, you have a good grasp of things:)

Salinity looks low. What do you think it is?

After you raise salinity, you will still need more potassium (if the results are correct).

How are you supplementing alkalinity? Borate is high and some additives have a slot of borate (Seachem Marine Buffer, for example). It's not yet a problem, but I wouldn't add more since it clouds your interpretation of alkalinity.

IMO you potassium is already at the low end, letting it get to 2xx anything is likely very detrimental. Just ask anyone who was burned by the HW salt that had low potassium last year when tons of people bought it on a big BRS sale. You don't want it really high but you are borderline too low already.

Again JMO.

my refractometer read 1.026 when I mailed the sample off.
I use ME Coral Alkalinity and Calcium.

Thank you. I was looking for potassium supplement at my LFS this past weekend and did not see any in stock. I will order some online and dose it. Thank you.
