Well here goes my run. Sold my swc 160 and upgraded to a reef octopus nwb2000.hope I made the right choice. So far it's a little louder then my old and geesh says it takes 3 weeks to break in. Swc only took 2 days. Does this mean I'm not going g to be pulling any crap out

My reef octopus xp1000 took a couple of weeks. Still skimmed, just need to watch it closely for over flows.

My skimmer was skimming within an hour... shrugg.. who knows?

I have it set low just in case it breaks...Watching it every day for 3 weeks would drive me insane..,Im surprise theres not a control for Air and a separate one for water..
