They look like Aspen PE's or Stardust PE's depending on how they color up. Whatever they are, nice pick-up.

thanks for $25 can't beat that..there are about 40 polyps on that rock.do you think they would be better off in higher light or lower...i got them on the sand for now until the get acclimated to the light..there were a few more rocks of these at that store might go back and get one more

once acclimated, I would recommend higher lighting to keep the sparkles... :)

Cool looking zoas, though keep a close eye on them, I've found out the hard way that there's usually a reason they aren't all open . . . reasons like nudis.

they were all open at the store that pic i took was not long after they were in the tank and all were open before they lights went out

thanks for the heads up...and i know your pain..before i use to just drop stuff in the tank and it was not pretty!!! i dip everything now and i give them a good inspection...looking for nudi eggs and stuff..since i started doing that i have never had a problem

i got a quick question do you think that those red zoas need to be in higher light also???

got a nice pic of all the polyps open on this red zoa piece.first is flash 2nd without..there were alot more polyps on there than i thought
