I used Rustoleum textured paint on the outside bottom in a light sand color...I just went and looked at the can. Sorry for the wrong paint name before...it is def Rustoleum paint.
It has a sandy texture right outta the can

dries in 20 minutes.

I was messing around with the HQ setting on my camera for Albert Thiel...trying to get a HQ pic of the Abalone for him but of course Mr. Abalone is hanging all the way in the back corner today <_<

I am getting great polyp extension on the SPS

Abalone

for size reference...that is a small mag float.

Most of the Z &P's that are touching the bare bottom have already started to attach..the radio active dragon eyes are not budging.
