Gotcha!! Look what I caught...

It looks like a Xanthidae crab, maybe Chlorodiella sp, like the one below:

Black mithrax , he's exactly the same as mine
In my opinion they can be hit or Miss
Mine got big enough to pick a scoly up that I had just fed and dragged it under my rock work
He's still lurking about in my tank now and doesn't fall for any of the traps I set for him .

As najer said he's had one for ages and doesn't cause a problem in his tank that's why I'll say their hit and miss

Yeah, I just don’t see any reason to take the risk, now that I’ve caught him. I’ll throw a few rocks down into my sump and he’ll have the whole 24 gallons to himself!
