In my opinion they can be hit or Miss
Mine got big enough to pick a scoly up that I had just fed and dragged it under my rock work
He's still lurking about in my tank now and doesn't fall for any of the traps I set for him .
As najer said he's had one for ages and doesn't cause a problem in his tank that's why I'll say their hit and miss
