Gotcha

I spent the entire day watching and waiting for this nasty lil crab to make a mistake, and he finally did. I saw him ontop of the aquascape, what caught my eye was I saw one of my Trochus go flying off the rock, when I got up to examine the situation the crab was sitting on the rock eyeballing my Dunc, I swiped at him with the net, knocked him off and scooped him up. Bye bye.

So many crab species out there I can’t make this one out either. A hairy fella for sure tho haha

Was just curious and ya so many and most are not good

My worst hitchhiker was a mantis shrimp

I ended up putting it in its own 20 gal acrylic box

Had it for 5 years before it kicked off

If I found one again I'd just get rid of it but was cool to have

I trained mine to take food from my hand it was a basher type

Never seen one first hand iv read they can be bad tho

All roads led to a gorilla crab, and his antics and actions made me want him out, even if he was another species. My LFS and a few people have all said "gorilla ". He was nasty, knocking my snails around, chomping off antennas from my shrimp and going after my coral. Well, not anymore.
