GoVols: Red Sea S-400

Someone called my name up....??:D

Ordered place for the tube and it looks like a great thing to add in my tank cleaning arsenal.:p
Well,
I remembered that when we moved the chiller for the cal reactor, we used some old python tubing that had an I. D. of 5/8 of an inch.

Tried to contact Python for a long yet tiny extension, but got no reply :(

Got lucky on Amazon with the tube and just ordered this elbow in hopes that the hose wont try to make a kink.

Figure  I'd grind down the end of the tube to about a 15 to 20 degree angle, so I can get under the entire rock scape.

I am going to cut the tube short so I can put it under rock work..:D

Anirban,
Just preformed a water change with the Amazon extension tube.
It's a winner and your going to love it.

Welp,
Two Saturdays ago I stuffed the Dendros (Orange Crush) polyps with fish pellet food.

It's polyps have been closed ever since :( and after consulting with @HolisticBear we went back to pushing two T5's instead of four, a couple of days ago.

Just noticed ;Wideyed that it's polyps are coming back out.

:)

It's an apt name. I do get the feeling dendros just do their thing. Being opening 12h in a row just isn't their thing. I am relieved it's open again ;Nailbiting

Thanks for your help with the par factor.

Your right about one thing: Each polyp has a mind of it's own

Good luck. That's a fare bit. Seems like 2x a week is pretty common & safe.
Thank You

We downed ;Dead the aiptasia in 2017 with the nudi's.

Going for the BA in 2018.

Don't carbon dose, so hope ;Nailbiting that cyano does not appear.

I’ve used Vibrant to great effect getting rid of a final stuburn batch of green hare algae. Killed it off in around 2 weeks.

It did affect and kill 2 Elegance corals including the large one I originally had at the front of my tank which reacted as soon as I added it but I don’t think you have these.

I only used it for 2 doses over 4 weeks.

Just keep an eye out for anything reacting to it but you should be fine Freddie, and I’m sure you’ve already seen the large thread on it.

Shaun,
Thanks so much and we'll keep and eye ;Cyclops on things.
