GoVols: Red Sea S-400

Not good, Jeffery

We hoped the PBT had constipation, but it's looks like Swim Bladder.

He's going to be a goner, by the am... :(

Freddie
Grind up some peas and if it eats you have you probiotic laxative

Ahh no what happened sorry to hear Freddie
Justin,
All signs lead me to believe that it was swim bladder disease.

I'll be fine, but it's the first fish that we've lost since the Achilles Tang.

We'll move on and let the Purple Tang be the King of the S-400.

Welp,
Just siphoned out the PBT...

Gave him the quickest most humane death, that I could provide.

Got him two January's back, and it sure is a bummer ;Sorry

Regards, GoVols

So sorry Fred

I dose 1 ml of the Red Sea "Color's" on Tuesday, but... like Kevin Davies told me:
I should use the Red Sea "Color's" test kits, since we brought the GEO online.

Good luck with these test kits Freddie

As soon as I opened the box they went straight back to the shop, it was like some crazy science experiment! Lol. Calcium uptake for me forever!

And sorry to hear about the PBT, very sad, especially the ‘siphoning out’ bit!

Sorry To hear about your PBT, it was a beautiful fish.

I never Liked The Red Sea Color Test, Fe and Iodine are OK, but the Potassium is so bad . many steps and the color change from blue to another shade of blue is not the easiest. I tried the salifert K test it was more user friendly.
I used the Red Sea Color Program for a while it was good, then I decided to give the Fauna Marin color elements a try, I noticed better Acropora coloration with FM.

Yeah,
That Red Sea "Potassium" test kit, is nutz... ;Wacky

I really liked the KZ Trace Complex, but after I smoked the nems, with the Frontline Plus, it spooked me.
The KZ Trace Complex does not list the ingredients.
That's an draw back in case we need to pull a Triton test down the line.

So, Last night I pulled the trigger on this KZ product.
"Korallen-Zucht Sea Water Complex"

(lol)
At least it does list the ingredient's... :)

We'll start off at 1ml per day and we'll see, if I can push 2ml per day, down the line.

Thanks for your input and it's means a lot!!

Freddie

Interesting Freddie!

I know the SPS guys in Australia are swearing by a new trace element line, that's reasonably priced there but ungodly expensive to get in the states. Additionally, the "Reefers Moonshine" trace are also getting popular too.

And of course... ATI Essentials and Triton method are all based around giving trace elements as well.

I know that Fugs swears by that new line, but he does live in Australia.

He uses it while dosing AF Component 1+ 2+ 3+
