GoVols: Red Sea S-400

Sorry guys. He looked labored the last two innings, was really surprised to see him hit in the top half even though I realize there were no bench players left. 1 inning too long for Cora, but he physically looked gas. His average FB was down 6/7 MPH at that point.

What a performance though. This game is on Cora.

It's strength on strength as in LSUs pass defense vs Bama's passing game (what world are we in?)

All that said, Tiger Stadium at night vs a well tested LSU team. I can see a Bama blow out if they get up early, but I can also see the game playing out similar to LSU vs UF if LSU can keep it close into the second half. I don't think Bama wins a close game.

You are a week early. That will be next weekend. I agree with your assessment for the game. Like everyone else, LSU does not have a great record historically against Alabama. There are; however, very few blow outs. The games are generally close. For about the last decade, each team has scheduled their bye week before the game. The defense will have to keep it close and the offense will have to find ways to score TDs in the red zone and not rely on Cole Tracy to score most of their points in the kicking game.

Coach Orgeron will actually be in my back yard (almost literally) in Lake Charles tonight watching his son, Cody, start his first game at QB for McNeese St. Both of his sons play there. His son, Parker, is a wide receiver. Coach O was a position coach there early in his career. That is usually where I am on Saturday nights, for the last 40+ years. Their stadium is in my back yard. From my back door to my seats in 7 minutes by foot.

I enjoy watching the FCS level also and the way they have their 16 team playoff at the end of the season. Well, I used to, when McNeese was a regular participant. Maybe this year.

Hey at least you guys still control your own Destiny. If UF and LSU both win out we could still miss the SEC Champ Game and as a result the playoffs (Not like we have any business being there anyways). I'm actually really excited to see Tua vs. Delphin(sp?). I'm hoping the combo of Death Valley at night and the LSU secondary can keep it close.

Also the wife went to UD (Delaware) for her undergrad. They're ranked again this year for the first time in a LONG time.

Since this is Freddie's thread, I feel today's game is a MUST win for UT if they want to be bowl eligible. I think they'll lose to UK and Vandy, which means they need wins against USC, DII program and Mizzou.

My Top 10 Upset scare of the day for today, FSU over Clemson (-17).
