GoVols: Red Sea S-400

@Sarah24!

If your dropping 40ppm a day you could dose 12 mil liters of "each" of the 4 colors per day.

I'd stay to that "small chamber" on side of the Red Sea cup per day.
I think that would put you at 5ml's per day with all 4 colors.

You should be safe, because the Red Sea colors do not contain strontium.

Sad update today...

Our 8 year old clownfish passed away this week. She was 1 (bonded pair) when we brought her home in 2012.

Couple of pictures for her memory:

So sorry to hear about this, Freddy. Sending peaceful vibes to you and your wife.

:(

The idea of fish being mourned like more common domesticated animals never really absorbed into my perspective until I started reefing. All the time, money, and effort we pour into making our tanks as close to the fish's natural habitat as we can, in addition to the length of time we keep said pets, it all has really had an impact on me like I never thought it would.

Sigh... chin up bud

Sorry to hear, Freddie. She was beautiful and I bet she had a rich, full life in your tank.

Thanks Caveman,
It's still hard to swallow.

She was a wonderful fish that brought joy to our family over the past seven years.

Pretty close to true color, but the Setosa and brown / red monti cap is way off... ;Wacky

The Setosa is a flaming pinkish red.

:)

Just gorgeous Freddie, such a beautiful mature tank.

but....... is your chromis almost the same size as the regal or is that some weird perspective thing?

Thank you Micheal,

Good question, it's the prospective:
The Regal is near the back and Chromis is at the vey front of the tank in that shot.

Regal, Purple tang and Achilles are larger than the Chromis.

Looking great Freddie.
The tank is maturing nicely and your montis are outstanding.
I love it

Janci,
Thanks for your kind words.

I have admired... ;Drool your scape from day one.
