i have a 40 gallon breeder how many GPH pump would be good thanks

Depends on what you want to have in the tank....
Rule of thumb is 3-5X the display volume for the return pump and 10-20X the volume for power heads and turnover if your doing softies, then like 30-40 for LPS and SPS.

Each tank will be different
